We combined our world famous Pilot Mounting System with our slender V2 Cases to bring you a luggage system that is spacious and narrow. The first of its kind semi-side loading design has a deep well to keep your contents in place when the door is opened. Even better, there’s no need to remove the gear strapped on top of your cases to access the contents inside!

We’ve included a simple and rugged exhaust lowering kit so there’s no need for an exhaust cutout. This maximizes your carrying capacity without increasing overall width on the bike. The completely sealed waterproof gasket keeps out rain, snow, mud, dirt, dust, and sand. Parking lot tip overs, off-road crashes, and not even Mexican taxi’s are enough to stop Micatech luggage. These are RUGGED panniers!

Pilot Mounting System
The Pilot Mounting System is rugged, simple and functional. Side cases slide on and off with ease. The Mounting Brackets follow the lines of the frame. The Mounting System is nearly invisible when the cases are off the bike.

¾” thick aluminum Mounting Brackets combined with ¼” stainless steel brackets support anodized aluminum Bullets. Three Mounting Blocks are attached to each Side Cases and then slide onto the frame mounted Bullets. Three internal thumbscrews, when tightened, engage a slot in the stainless steel Support Brackets and rear Cross Bar. Locking tabs prevent the thumbscrews from loosening. A rear stabilizing Cross Bar prevents the cases from swaying or flopping. Mounting hardware for the R1200GS Adventure is powder coated black to match the bike frame.

Installation is straightforward and requires a basic understanding of hand tools and mechanical knowledge. No cutting or drilling is required.
